South Eastern Clogging Company offers Tiny Tot to Adult Beginner Classes along with Competition Level Teams.  SECC is proud to preserve Clogging’s rich heritage by preserving the Traditional style clogging most are familiar with, along with Contemporary style clogging that you may have seen on such shows as “America’s Got Talent”, Brandon Norris on “So you Think You Can Dance” and “Star Search”. 

SECC is owned and directed by Paulette Johnson-Ray of Kingston, TN. Paulette started dancing at the age of 9 and has been teaching since she was 14. Her teams are the current ACHF Contemporary World Champions and have performed for many venues such as Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales in Gatlinburg, TN; Dollywood; Disneyworld; Dogwood Arts Parade and Festival where her teams were recognized for Best Theme and Best Entertainment two years in a row; Foothills Fall Festival, WOKI, Live at 5, and other well-known venues. She was recognized by E.P.I.C. as 2007 – 2008 Director of the year and was picked to be on the 2007 American Clogging Hall of Fame Senior team. Paulette also has dancers who have gone on to perform in Pigeon Forge at the Comedy Barn, Black Bear Jamboree and the Smoky Mountain Jubilee.
